“My art lets the Porsche speak. Not through the best sound in the world, but through silence, graceful curves, vibrant color, and feminine power.”
— Alina Knott
Alina Knott is a Ukrainian-born artist based in Germany, internationally known for her vivid, emotionally resonant oil paintings of Porsche automobiles. She works between two studios: one in Berlin, where the city's vibrant art scene inspires her, and one in Heiligendamm by the Baltic Sea, where the soft, shifting light brings quiet poetry. Her Jack Russell, Davy, follows her everywhere — part muse, part mischief, full-time CEO of naps and snacks. This mix of city energy and coastal calm shapes her artistic vision, blending motion and stillness in her work.
Art in every curve

Thank you so much for your inquiry and your interest in my work — I truly appreciate it. This year, I am accepting a limited number of custom commissions — either based on a personal photo or your own idea. Due to my current projects, I would first need to check when I can start working on your piece. Please send me a clear reference photo and a short description of your vision.
Once I have those details, I can offer you a specific timeframe.
As a guideline:
An oil painting on canvas in the format 120 × 80 cm usually takes about eight weeks to complete. After that, it needs approximately another eight weeks to dry before it can be safely shipped.

Yes, all of my original paintings are hand-signed and come with a certificate of authenticity.
The signature appears either on the front or the back of the canvas, depending on the artwork. The certificate confirms the authenticity of the piece and includes the title, year of creation, technique, and my signature. This way, you receive not only a unique painting but also an official document that verifies its origin and value.
I work mainly with oil on canvas — it allows me to express depth, emotion, and subtlety in every layer. Depending on the subject and atmosphere I want to create, I also use acrylics, glass paints, and other media. I prefer using high-quality, environmentally conscious paints from Germany and the Netherlands. Their rich colors and durability meet the highest artistic standards. One of my favorite surfaces is fine Belgian linen. Its texture, strength, and longevity make it ideal for museum-quality work.
Besides canvas, I also work with:
I always choose my materials intuitively and purposefully — guided by what the artwork needs to truly come to life.

Yes, in principle — selected artworks can be licensed.
If you are interested in using one of my paintings for commercial or editorial purposes (such as a book, magazine, product packaging or advertisement), feel free to send me a licensing request.
